IN OTHER NEWS...

The Police killed a young man this past weekend.  The young man: Jonathan Cuervas  was only 20 years old (6-5-90 to 10-10-10). We talked to friends of the Victim and they said he was shot 7 times by a Sheriff. Also that he was shot in the back while he was trying to run away. The LA TIMES artical states that there was a gun found. But i doubt it cus we where told that the 2 kids that where with Jonathan Where let go without a charge but were threatened to not do interviews or "say shit" or else they where going to get charged with something. WHO WILL BE NEXT?

One killed, two injured in separate law enforcement shootings

October 10, 2010 |  3:36 pm
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man on a Lynwood street early Sunday, one of several shootings over the weekend involving law enforcement officers.
The Lynwood incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. when a lone deputy approached three men walking in the 11800 block of Long Beach Boulevard near Josephine Street. One of the men allegedly reached into his waistband as he started to run, and the deputy fired several times, striking the man, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Luis Castro.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A handgun was recovered at the scene, Castro said.
On Saturday, a sheriff’s anti-gang unit in East Los Angeles spotted two men looking into several cars parked near Union Pacific Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue about 6:50 p.m. One of the men, David Alexander Perez, 20, ran from the deputies, who chased him onto the 1300 block of Fraser Avenue, said Deputy Robert Boese III.
Perez turned onto a residential driveway and was blocked by a locked gate. He then allegedly pointed a semiautomatic weapon at his pursuers. One of the deputies fired, grazing Perez, who was treated at a hospital. He was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and was being held on $100,000 bail. The man accompanying Perez was not charged and is cooperating with the investigation, Boese said.
Also on Saturday, police in South Los Angeles responding to reports of shots being fired encountered a man with an assault rifle near 84th Street, west of Central Avenue, about 8:30 p.m. Police fired on the man, who suffered extensive injuries and was in critical but stable condition at a hospital. No other information about the shooting was available,  said Los Angeles Police Ofc. Karen Rayner.
